, will be making her second visit to Pittsburgh from September 2-5, and Cincinatti from the 12th through the 16th. An LST Mk.1, the 325 was built in Philadelphia, and is currently ported in Evansville, Ind, where she serves as a floating tribute to the ships that were built in the city. The later Mk.2 LSTs were built in Evansville, as well as Seneca Ill and here in Pittsburgh, with 264 ships built in the Dravo and Ambridge shipyards. If you’re in the area, it’s well worth the time to go and see it, but get in early, last time the lines were so long they wound up turning people away.
